IT Project Manager
Soitron is currently expanding Project Management Office and so we are looking for a new colleague who will join our team. We are in team of 12 people, working together across SK/CZ on various types of projects.
Job offer informationWe are seeking a highly organised and skilled IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing various projects within our organisation. The Project Manager will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. It is essential to have the ability to manage projects focused on public administration, public procurement and tendering, and grant projects related to the EU.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, overseeing projects from initiation to closure.
- Lead and coordinate project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing guidance and direction to ensure project objectives are met at each stage.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, aligning them with organisational objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent potential roadblocks.
- Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and report on project status to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource utilisation effectively.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies, integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Create project reports
- Administrative work needed for projects
- Proven experience (min. 3 years) in IT project management, overseeing complex technology projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Tempo).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, exhibits enthusiasm, and fosters a constructive approach to challenges.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- General Project Methodology knowledge (Project Management Institute (PMI), Prince2, IPMA)
- Prince2, PMP or IPMA certification
- Motivation and strong personal attitude
- Czech and English is a must
